Nicola Samantha Duggan is a seasoned corporate professional and strategic leader with extensive experience in marketing, sales, and financial services and a strong track record in telecommunications and real estate advocacy. As a Marketing Officer at Digicel and GTT, she took on critical responsibilities in brand management, sponsorship initiatives and securing high end corporate portfolios, demonstrating vision, presentation finesse, and stakeholder outreach expertise.
Nicola quickly established a reputation for strategic thinking and results-driven execution. Her career expanded into financial services with her appointment as Manager of Mobile Money Guyana, overseeing operations, client portfolios, and high-value transactions. In this role, she successfully partnered with major companies, designed innovative solutions to bridge customer needs with market opportunities, and strengthened Mobile Money’s presence as a key player in Guyana’s financial landscape.
Nicola holds a BSc in Business Management, a Diploma in Marketing, and certifications in Project Management and Information Technology. In addition to her corporate achievements, Nicola played a pivotal role in shaping the real estate industry in Guyana. She was selected to serve on the interim steering committee tasked with developing model legislation to professionalize real estate practice, thus highlighting her commitment to ethical standards, policy advocacy, and inclusive stakeholder collaboration. She further represented industry interests in engagements with the Attorney General and contributed to meaningful feedback on the draft Real Estate Bill 2023, underscoring her diplomatic acumen and strategic insight.
